The Howest team has the following responsibilites in the NursEduPal@Euro project

Veerle Coupez
Project coordinator and researcher
Veerle is a senior lecturer and research coordinator at the nursing department of Howest. She is a registered nurse with a master degree in medical and social sciences and is a clinical expert in palliative care. She has an additional master degree in education with extra specialization in the moderation of ethical deliberation and in e-learning and instructional design.

Danny Vereecke
Project manager and researcher
Danny is a researcher and project coordinator at the nursing department of Howest. She has a master degree in biology and a PhD in Biotechnology. She is an experienced instructor in higher education.

Céline Baele
Project researcher
Céline has research expertise in the field of health, work- and emotion psychology and has been involved in different healthcare-related projects at Howest University of Applied Sciences. She has expertise in coaching, training and education (a.o. as a lecturer) and has experience in moderating ethical case deliberation. She holds a master degree in Psychology and is currently working on her PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology, in which her focus is on moral distress and its impact on wellbeing and competence in healthcare personnel.

Heidi Defloor
Project researcher
Heidi is a senior lecturer and coordinator of simulation at Howest. She is specialised in skills lab and has an advanced licence in simulation training and coaching. She is a registered nurse with expertise as a head nurse in homecare and psychiatric care.
